Do It for the Children
"Think beyond your lifetime if you want to accomplish something truly worthwhile."
- Walt Disney
Just read (in Pat Williams' book "How to be More Like Walt") about a present that Walt gave to Art Linkletter for his birthday one year.
It's a pic of a small boy looking off into the distance with the word "Priorities" underneath it. Walt wrote under it: "A hundred years from now it will not matter what is in your bank account, or what kind of car you drive. It will only matter that you made a difference in the life of a child."
Sounds like one of those motivational mission statements they sell in the mall, but this one's cooler - it's from Walt!
